We’re looking for someone in North America who can advocate for everything we do here at AxonIQ. Not just our brilliant open-source developer tools but also our game-changing opinions, techniques, products, and services. 

You’d be advocating for everything - the whole of the AxonIQ way of building great software.

This individual would advocate for (and regularly teach people about)

As our North America AxonIQ Advocate, you would:

  • Drive awareness & adoption of AxonIQ to new audiences across North America.
  • Connect with developers, architects, and IT decision-makers at every level ‒ sharing your knowledge and experience in business meetings, conference stages, meetups, media articles, blogs, podcasts, and social media.
  • Help to build an AxonIQ community by getting out there and meeting people.
  • Communicate and explain our technology, techniques, and services to different audiences, including developers, architects, operators, managers, VPs, and CxOs in enterprise settings and often alongside our salespeople.


The ideal person will be:

  • Experienced in working as a developer advocate or company evangelist.
  • Creative, able to sell big ideas like ‘Modernization the AxonIQ way.’
  • Confident in communication - both written and verbal. Previous experience with public speaking is a must.
  • Preparing and hosting everything from online webinars and training to multi-day workshops. You might be demonstrating code one day and facilitating an event-storming workshop the next!
  • Excited by the prospect of traveling to new places and meeting new people, and by the idea of broadcasting live to the nation!
  • Happy to write, produce, or collaborate on all kinds of content ‒ written, recorded, and social. Evidence of contributing to blogs and developing a social following is essential.
  • Comfortable working with Axon Framework and Axon Server using both Java and Spring. You’ll also be comfortable integrating with existing teams of developers or architects to help them get started on their Axon journey.
  • Comfortable explaining the benefits of our approach to board members, software selection panels, and managers.
  • Daring! You prefer to write opinionated texts, perform at exciting speaking engagements, challenge the status quo, and be eager to become the next role model in our niche;
