Introducing the AxonIQ Playbook

The AxonIQ Playbook is a new collection of patterns to support the AxonIQ community in modeling, implementing and operating event-sourced systems.

Proper system design relies on a solid understanding of one’s business domain; the Playbook embraces Event Modeling and its building blocks for this purpose, by documenting common patterns to model system state changes and views, automations, integrations and more, along with code examples using Axon components.

These patterns encourage adoption of best practices, as illustrated in the Playbook’s second part - a step-by-step guide for how to model and implement an event-sourced system for a sample business domain (bike rental) using the aforementioned patterns and core Axon components (Axon Framework, Axon Server, AxonIQ Console).
